Why we chose to use Infused olive oil for our Rejuvenating Face Cream

As you likely know, we are committed to using the best, natural ingredients in our products and we are excited about this one!  We have 100% pure Frankincense resin which we infused into extra virgin olive oil and we did the same thing with beautiful, pure lavender buds.  Using these botanical extracts in our goat milk face cream gave our cream a silky texture, soft rich scent, and extra skin benefits.

What an infusion is vs. essential oil

Infused oil: plant material (resin or buds) is macerated in a carrier oil (here, extra-virgin olive oil) to extract soluble compounds over time or with gentle heat. Results are a full-spectrum, oil-soluble extract that carries both aromatic and skin-beneficial constituents in a mild form.
Essential oil: highly concentrated, aromatic compounds extracted by distillation or cold press. Potent, strong aroma, and powerful biological activity so not much is needed.
